As our league president said in her opening message of July's Members Matter, and others throughout the league have reiterated, now is the time to continue to Lean into the League’.

“Good Trouble Lives On” is a day of action scheduled on July 17 to honor John Lewis’ legacy. The national league has signed on as a partner, and LWVAZ has joined the local efforts, including the event on the Tempe Pedestrian Bridge. It starts at 6:30 AM to allow people to attend before work and before the central heat of the day!  Wear your LWV badges, hats, and t-shirts - make signs and come prepared for the weather.  While this rally is one of peaceful protest, we ask you to be familiar with the “Guidance for Members attending Protests and Rallies” in the recent LWVAZ Advocacy and Action
